Biography
Xuan QI is a 2025 undergraduate student majoring in Physics at Southern University of Science and Technology, affiliated with Zhiren College. Currently in the foundational academic training phase, he is taking core physics courses while actively participating in physics competitions and academic explorations.
He has achieved outstanding results in physics competitions, representing the university and attaining top rankings in regional contests. His research interests lie in computational condensed matter physics and mathematical physics. He is building solid mathematical and physics foundations to prepare for prospective research in high-level research groups.
Research Interests
His primary academic interests are listed as follows:
- Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics: Focusing on research directions including quantum material properties and electronic structure calculations pursued by Prof. Qihang Liu’s research group.
- Mathematical Physics: Interested in mathematical structures underlying physical laws and their rigorous proofs.
- Computational Physics: Simulating physical evolution via numerical approaches.

Xuan QI aims to establish a comprehensive knowledge framework in theoretical physics throughout his undergraduate studies.
