The program is open to all enrolled SUSTech undergraduate students. Specific enrollment criteria and selection policies are subject to the official files released by the Program Office.

When will the admissions timeline and details be announced?
Once the recruitment schedule is finalized, it will be promptly updated in the Admission and Calendar sections of this website, or announced directly via campus email.

What makes APEX different from a regular undergraduate track?
The APEX Program emphasizes a elite, small-scale cohort model. It features rigorous scientific training schemes, early exposure to hands-on research, and highly personalized academic mentorship.
Are students encouraged to explore multiple disciplinary directions?
Absolutely. The program actively encourages interdisciplinary exploration within the foundational sciences, including taking cross-departmental courses or joining interdisciplinary labs. However, in principle the APEX does not give students the right to pursue double majors (with the exception of university-approved minor programs).
